Avenue Physiotherapy is excited to welcome Sarah Stratford back to Brantford and thrilled that she’ll be joining the team!
Sarah Stratford obtained her Bachelor of Health Sciences degree at the University of Western Ontario in 2008. She then completed her Masters of Physiotherapy at Queen’s University in 2011. Sarah has since been working in private orthopaedic practice and has spent the last 3 years practising in Ottawa.
Sarah has completed her Level 3 of Manual Therapy with the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and recently passed her Intermediate Exam in preparation for taking advanced courses in manual therapy. She looks forward to pursuing her goal of becoming a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy.
In addition, Sarah has taken several other courses, including Level 1 of the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute and Functional Dry Needling. She also holds certifications in shoulder and hip specific rehabilitation.
Outside of work Sarah enjoys playing soccer, running, cycling, and spending time outdoors.
