Hello, Brantford!
Avenue Physiotherapy is thrilled to announce that Pam Honeyman will be joining the team in October.
Pam graduated from McMaster University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy. She also has an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo, 1988. She is originally from Brantford and has recently returned to the city.
Since graduation, Pam has taken over 50 post graduate courses focusing on manual therapy, sports medicine, ergonomics, fascial release and repetitive strain injuries. She was certified in acupuncture in 2008 with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada. Pam is committed to staying current with the latest advancements in rehabilitation.
Pam has over 20 years of experience as a Physiotherapist and has worked in a variety of treatment settings, including prominent Orthopaedic and Sports Clinics in the Toronto area, hospitals and home care. She was the on-site Physiotherapist for Nortel Networks and the Toronto Star and at both companies, she received awards for innovation and excellence in care.
At present, Pam is a part-time independent contractor. She also provides home care physiotherapy services. Her areas of interest include neck and shoulder pain, sports and repetitive strain injuries and senior care. In her spare time, Pam plays tennis and golf. She also enjoys yoga, the arts and traveling.
